The time paparazzi caught me
Browsing through old photos I came across this candid view of ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti and yours truly.
Simon Bierwald took the photo on September 18, 2011 at an event in Cologne, Germany. ESA invited dozens of space enthusiasts like Simon and I to cover the event on socials and other online venues.
At a break Samantha came to say hi and we started chatting. At some point we looked around and, with surprise, noticed we were encircled by people taking photos of us, including Simon.
Damn paparazzi.
